1. What Roytoy is

Roytoy (“the Studio”) is a self-hosted software tool that renders short English-learning videos and publishes them to the social media accounts owned by its operator. It is operated by an individual creator (“the Operator”) and is reachable at royfactory.net.

The Studio is single-tenant. It runs on the Operator’s own computer, has no public sign-up, and connects only to accounts the Operator personally owns and authorizes.

2. Who may use it

Only the Operator. There is no registration, no user accounts, and no way for a third party to connect their own social media account. If you have arrived at this page as a member of the public, nothing here grants you a licence to use the Studio.

3. Connected accounts

The Studio connects to third-party platforms through their official APIs, using OAuth 2.0 consent granted by the Operator:

  • TikTok — Login Kit and the Content Posting API, to upload and publish videos to the Operator’s own TikTok account.
  • YouTube — the YouTube Data API, for the same purpose on the Operator’s own channel.

The Operator may revoke this access at any time from the respective platform’s settings, which immediately stops the Studio from publishing.

4. Content

All videos published by the Studio are original works created by the Operator: the wording, the example sentences, the rendered visuals, and the synthesized narration. The Operator is solely responsible for that content and for its compliance with each platform’s community guidelines and terms — including the TikTok Terms of Service and the TikTok Community Guidelines.

The Studio does not repost, scrape, or redistribute other people’s content.

5. Acceptable use

The Operator will not use the Studio to publish spam, misleading content, impersonation, or content that violates any connected platform’s rules. Publishing volume is deliberately limited to a small number of videos per day.

6. Availability and warranty

The Studio is personal software provided as is, without warranty of any kind. It may be changed or discontinued at any time without notice. Nothing on this page creates an obligation to keep it running.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of the Studio, including interruption of publishing or loss of generated files.

8. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the Studio changes. The revision date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
